Is there a place for Eris specific apps?

I forced myself to put my phone down and start dinking with my wife's Eris. There some apps on my phone that she really likes and I was trying to find them on the market for her and they aren't there (Shapewriter for example).
The slideshow widget also wouldn't install, though it's not a market app.

So is there a way to find out what's out there without searching through the market via the phone?

If the app does not show for the Eris, I believe there is not a version fro that phone.

Yes if the app doesnt show up in the market then its not supported, but there definitely is a beta shapewriter version for the Hero/Eris on the market, just do the search for shapewriter and for me its there, called "Shapewriter Beta for Hero&Eris."

I would also recommend trying the new swype beta out for both phones if they're still letting people register. IMHO it's much better the the previous swype, and I think its better than shapewriter too.
