Is there a way to disable auto-correct in Swype?

I couldn't find an option to enable/disable auto-correct in the Swype options. Is there anyway to do this?

Unselect the Word Prediction box in the Swype Settings. I think that is what you want.

Yeah tried that, didn't work =\. Is the only way to type words not in the swype dictionary by adding the word to the dictionary?

Yea, when I add a word to the dictionary it comes up in the swype pop-up from then on.

you can type the word normally without swiping the keyboard and then long press the word to add it to your dictionary
