Is there a way to get a vociemail notification icon on the home screen ?

I know there is a very small indicator up on the notifications bar but I have a hard time seeing it. Go Launcher puts little numbers on my email, text, and phone icons for new messages or missed calls but for some reason they do not do the same for voicemails. Does anyone know of an app that will do this? I am using Verizon Visual Voice Mail - thanks

It says it integrates with visual voice mail, but not sure if it shows them on the home screen.
