I love the features wugs has, stuff like backing up sms and data. Does the razr have something similar? The best part of wugs is that you dont have to be rooted. My dad has a razr and Id like to be able to do stuf w/out rooting it.

Keep in mind that the Razr's bootloader is locked and that the flexibility of Wug's Toolkit is in part due to the ability to unlock a Nexus device's bootloader. I use Wugs Toolkit on my Nexus 7, it is a great tool. The closes thing to Wugs Toolkit for the Razr family is Matt G's RazrUtility. The latest version is 1.82, however the 1.81 version is available on this forum in the sticky above. The utility will allow the user to restore the Razr back to its original state (stock .211), root, and install safestrap and Voodoo Rootkeeper. It will not perform all the functions as Wug's Toolkit. However, there are many other apps that can be downloaded that in combination with Matt's utility you can accomplish most everything on the Razr that you can accomplish with Wug's Toolkit. Examples: Titanium Backup for backing up just about anything; ROM Manager for flashing a custom recovery, flashing ROMS etc. There are other apps like ES File Explorer, ROM Toolbox etc that enable a rooted user to do just about anything. These additional apps do require root.
BOTTOM LINE: To accomplish all the things on the Razr that you probably would like to do will require root.
