Is there anyway to Fool XM Radio

I have XM in my car plus another couple on the family plan so I receive XM for free on my computer. I was shocked when I went to the site on my X only to be told I have to purchase XM mobile for another 2.99 a month. Is there anyway of getting around this? I would think going to the website and signing in just as I do on my desktop it would work.
