Is Voice to Text in 2.1 for the Eris?

I just installed the official update on my Wife's Eris and I can't find voice to text on emails or texts.
I thought that was supposed to be part of the update??
Maybe I'm missing something.

^^^No, voice to text was not put on until 2.1 you may have voice search but unless you are rooted or added 3rd party software there is no voice to text in 1.5

i guess it comes with handcent ms then

^^^yep handcent has that but the native voice to text works in everything

i have the same problem.. i thought the eris 2.1 would have the speech to text input feature but it seems it does not... maybe they forgot one of the most important things to add in the update:droideris:

Same for my wifes phone. And she was really looking forward to using this feature.
