Issues with uploading to Picasa

i have a rooted droid running MIUI V3.

I just tried for the first time to upload photos to Picasa. It first prompts me to add my google account, which of course I already have setup on my droid.

When I re-enter the id and password it tells me that the account is already set up, and that I need to enter a different one.

Its an endless loop. Seems like the only soultion at this point is to add another gmail account, which I dont want to do.

I dont know if this is a ROM issue, or something else.

Any ideas?? Other than wipe.

I ended up wiping and installing a new rom , shadow rom. I think that what worked was already having the picasa account created before I added the Google account to my Droid. It recognized that I have a picasa account and automatically synced it with my gallery.

I suppose it could have also been a glitch with the miui rom.

I'm having the same problem with my Droid 2, and I tried to make another account and the same thing happened. I went to take your suggestion and get the shadow rom and they don't have a shadow rom under droid 2. Do you have a rom suggestion that is similar to the shadow rom?
