It takes a long time to answer the phone

I've had my Bionic since February, however, less than two weeks ago it suddenly has had a problem when I have an incoming call. I hit the answer button, but there is a good 20-30 seconds before the caller and I can hear each other. I have also had a few messages sending texts but receiving them is not a problem. I live and work in 4G LTE areas, but seem to have this problem when I am in 3G areas also. My internet, email, facebook, etc. connectivity have not changed. I have only downloaded 5 apps and I removed three of them in case they were the problem. Does anyone have any ideas? I have no idea how to reboot my phone or check for an update. This is my first droid.

I would turn off phone and pull battery. Then take out the sim card for a few and put it all back together and turn it on. Hopefully that will do it. If you've already tried that you might try a factory reset.
