Hello folks - saw this forum out here, and being a relatively new Droid owner, I thought it'd be a good place to check out for hints and tips on my new toy... er, I mean phone.
As you can see, I go by the forum name of Ernest_T_Bass. Yes, that's as in the character from "The Andy Griffith Show." No, I'm not a nut like he was - just a big fan of the character and the show.
I've had my Droid for just over a week now, and am enjoying it very much. This is my first smartphone. I've had some calendaring and data access options on prior phones (none of which ever required a data plan), but nothing at all like what's offered by this phone. Looking forward to learning more, and hopefully being able to help some others along the way.
