Java app needed!

Hi, I am new to this site, I just got my first smart phone, droid2, and was disappointed when I went to play yahoo euchre. Said I needed java, I have searched in vain to no avail. Does any of you techies know how to help me get a java download?? Tyvm.

Jave is not available, as far as I can tell.

There is some big nasty war between the Java developers, and the Android OS developers. And the LOOSER is....... we the droid users!

Is that why I get a java IO exception notification under Astro from time to time?

No phone can run Java Applets (Java in the browser) as far as I can tell.

Also all Android Apps a writen in Java that's why you are seeing the io error, there is a bug in the program.

I get around this by using phonemypc. It lets me play pogo.com games on my droid. You have to have that opened on your computer but hay at least it works and i can play/chat. :welcome: to the forum
