JIT compiler

New Member
as some of u know, the new GOT openrecovery lets u enable the JIT compiler
the JIT compiler comes from the froyo update and gives u performance boost, altough no near as good as the froyo itself
my question is, is there any1 that tried it? is it very stable?
i dont like to get hardware problems because of the JIT

I've been running it for a couple weeks now, phone is nice and stable and noticeably faster in benchmarks, and loading web pages goes much quicker..it's about a 50% boost in performance in some things, other things about the same. Worth loading if you're comfortable with it. Just be sure to wipe the Dalvik and regular cache before you try installing it, and of course, have a nandroid backup first. :)

Also keep in mind the compiler is just part of the reason Froyo is faster (better memory management, more optimized code, etc).

I installed it and i from 4,5 mflops to only 6,9??
the fps from benchmarks didnt change at all from b4
i didnt wipe dalvik cache, is thag the cause?
will i lose data if i wipe it? Or is it to late to so that?
