Please someone help, I don't know if its my settings or not but my 3g will turn off when im on the web or market etc... how can I keep it on when I need it but off when I don't?
are you using any app to control your 3g settings? If so what is the app? Also what are those settings and the options they can be changed to? i used Juice Defender U and have little to no trouble
No other app to control my 3g other than juice defender ultimate.. and I have it on advanced and pretty much left it alone from there. It definately works very good (2.04 increase) but it turns off my 3g randomly, that's the only thing wrong :'( please help its driving me crazy
What profile do you have it set to? I have mine on extreme, but you can whitelist the apps that you need the 3g for. If all else fails, just simply pull down the notification screen and tap data off and it'll switch on. And I also think there is a juice defender widget too?
i have mine set to advanced. i will name my settings and this gives me a 1.78 gain on average and does not turn off 3g at random. Controls: mobile data/enabled tab mode/ N/A wifi/enabled options/none selected 3g/ N/A disable timeout/none selected autosync/ping keep enabled/none selected timeout/disabled keygaurd/none selected home wifi network/disabled brightness through governor do not apply to me so i will not list them. Schedules: schedule/enabled frequency/30m duration/1m controls/default night/enabled start-end/12am-8am adaptive start-end/start +1hr max options/silent peak/disabled weekend/disabled. Triggers: battery/enabled battery threshold/25% charger/none selected screen/enabled(this is what you should probably enable for it to stop turning it off at random times, just saying)options/ignore on low battery controls/default traffic/enabled traffic threshold/high/1m apps/enabled controls/default location/disabled. Try that and see what happens because with moderate use it's not unusual for me to go 12-15 hours and still have 40%-60% sometimes more if i really stay out of it:icon_eek:
Thanks for your settings. I have most set the same and I get 2.16 now (this is not average, usualy around 1.8 or.9) I have screen enable and it still doing it.. maybe just my droid 2 itself?
