Hey guys,

Just picked up a Droid X tonight and I'm trying to decide if I want to just stay on the official OTA gingerbread or if I should flash another ROM.

What say you??? If you think I should go with another rom, which one?

I would just stay stock if you aren't having any problems with the stock rom

Flash it, you'll be happier with it. Better battery, faster, no bloatware. I love the liberty rom on my d2

Root it. Either Liberty, apex or Zombie stomped or drew garens roms.
I have run all but liberty and think the last 3 are all great. right now I am running Lexlite 4.5 which is a .596 rom.

It was the first .596 rom I found and it is rock solid and fast. I had been running apex before the upgrade and Highly recommend apex also.

Peace

Have you found any themes for our Liberty gb 0.7 d2's yet? I'm looking everywhere.

Droid 2 Liberty GB v0.7

Root it!!! Use drew garen roms. Im feeling the hateraid1.5 . My battery life is super amazing, with more than usual use.

Drewgaren.com.

Liberty is dope too.

Well, I rooted and put liberty 2.1 on it. Even though its the same rom as my droid 2 it feels snappier.

I have the SBF file for OTA gingerbread and I'm thinking about flashing that just to try it out.

If I have the updated Froyo SBF, I can just flash back to that if I don't like gingerbread right?
