Just called and no official ota update?

Just argued for 20min with support and a supervisor from motorola that there are ppl getting ota updates, she said there has been no ota updates and no release dates. I could tell she was lying cuz she'd start to tell me something then stop.Guess the randoms are just testers. They wanted my number so hope it's for an update sooner, could have put me to the bottom of the list for being a lil firm lol

I just got it but I am a soak tester. Test goes through weekend. Not sure if rolling out to everyone or just testers. Hopefully next week to everyone if test goes well. No idea though...

That's because there is no "official" OTA yet. There are tests being conducted but that's it. The tests consist of two groups:

1. Soak Testers (work directly with motorola, in a private confidential environment)

2. Involuntary Guinea Pigs that are randomly selected bionic owners that get the update. Moto will gather the guinea pig data from tech support calls and posts on the moto owners forum.

the phone reps, techs and supervisors have no idea whats going on with the updates.

they just tell people what they want to hear to get them off their lines.

I have only called 99 times, but I have got 101 different answer from Verizon. Not sure if that means I win or lose.
