just got a droid... "blank card or unsupported filesystem"

That message is right at the top. I'm tried using the camera and it told me to put in a memory card. This is very first thing after I activated it. What shall I do?

probably just need to format it - can you plug it in the computer and have it recognize the memory card on it?
