just got my moto

just upgraded to moto droid from a eris. so i got handcent like i had and expecting everything to be good. i jsut cant seem to recieve pictures. i can send them, but everytime i get a pic sent it starts to download and the button comes up and then it says unsucessful. the person sending he pic also has a moto droid so its not a compatibility issue. my signal isnt the greatest at my house but any idea why?

Are you by chance roaming or on an extended network?

as far as i know no. i do get waves of 3g i am just in a valley and usually only have like 1-3 bars.
i just did *228 and i haven't gotten the unsuccessful warning being i got the phone like agood 25 miles away
