Good question. I have been wanting a tablet for awhile and my ending choices came to the Xoom, HP Tablet (Palm OS), Samsung 10.1 Tablet.

I decided on the Xoom because of all of the build integrity, and specs.

So far I am very happy with it. there a few bugs but I know as soon as the apps catch up with Honeycomb things are going to be even better.
