Just installed 2.1

I have live wallpapers, pinch to zoom and all the other goodies.
My question is cause im confused
with the new 2.1 update shouldnt there be a new icon? to open your apps. The little white square?
and also i thought you could put 4 apps on the bottom?
someone help me out!
