Just Ordered a Droid X!

I had the original droid since day one and i just bought a droid x online! Any suggestions for me or anything I should know?

Also what should I kow about roms and rooting?

Accesories you suggest?

I am looking into the verizon extended battery, what cases fit with it?

Congrats!! You will love it...came from a D1 as well and all I can say is WOW, the X is amazing...

I have the soft silicone case, VZW pouch and desk dock...the dock doesn't fit with the silicone case but it is easy to slip off / on...

I am taking the plunge as well. It was a toss up for me between the DX and the Fascinate and i figured I would stay with Verizon. The whole Bing issue turned me off from the Fascinate. I am just going to pick up any hard case from ebay or where ever.

I am going to get this car dock from ebay:

eBay - New & used electronics, cars, apparel, collectibles, sporting goods & more at low prices

You can just snap it in place with the hard case and go. I am not sure what home dock I will get.

The extended battery is hardly any different so all soft cases should fix no problem and this version of moto blur or whatever it is is amazing I love it its better than stock android tithe only issue I can having now its not being able to change my contact display group like on stock android its missing a few options.

i plan on using launcher pro

The only thing launcher pro offers the x is the 3D app drawer I dont even use launcher l pro anymore thedefault kids so great.
Btw the swype text is amazing as well love it.

My DX cases just arrived. I bought the stock VZ cases from Ebay at about half price. For car charger I bought the Griffin Power Jolt with two separate 1000ma USB connections from WalMart. I also bought new Micro USB and Micro Hdmi from newegg.com.
