So..... Hey! Just kidding. I'm new to all this "root" stuff, but have done a lil research on the matter, as I was getting ready recently to root my RAZR, but then had an accident & busted the screen on it, so now I have a RAZR MAXX HD & am not so sure bout rooting it just yet. The reason I wanted to do the RAZR was cause I was wanting to strengthen the signal & extend the batt life, but so far on the MAXX HD, I'm pleased with it SO FAR. If anyone has any advice or input on this or other info on the MAXX HD, I'll b glad to listen. Thank u for a WONDERFUL forum to learn & make friends with!

If your main concern for rooting was signal and battery life, I think the Maxx HD has you covered in those areas. However, if you wish to take advantage of the other benefits of root, then go for it!
