Just some questions I need answered

A question about cpu and taskmanagers

Does the og droid have NFC (near field communications) capabilities?
Also, there is clear plastic under the sliding part of my droid's screen that is bubbling up, would it hurt to remove it completely?

Thanks

hey, I have a new question. I read here: ongoing:android_myths [CVPCS Android Wiki]
that android is meant to run better when it's memory is full and that task managers can actually be more harmful than otherwise. I that case, does anyone have any solutions for keeping cpu usage down? I am running the latest froyo build of bugless beast on my og droid, and for some reason my cpu is constantly running in the high 85% - 99% range and clogging up causing it to slow down to a crawl (sometime I have just under a minute of lag).
Any tips?

Rule of thumb: if it's not in the specs the manufacturer didn't throw it in for free. Specs are always available on Motorola's site.

Not sure if that always applies. Had a touch pro. There's an FM radio in it that was never advertised. ROM devs found it poking around. Don't remember if they ever got it to work or not.

no

and

no (actually your supposed to remove this)

I have to respectfully disagree that you are supposed to remove this piece of clear plastic. There were no directions to do so, and it is clearly a die cut piece of plastic with cutouts for fasteners and such. Mine is still on from November of 09.

I would agree except for the fact that mine got very bubbled and I almost could not open the keyboard.

Say I took it back because of this. Would they laugh and peel the plastic off or send me a new phone?

Sent from my GimpDroid (Installed by RZR).
