Used to use k-9 on old droid but am having problem setting up on my Galaxy 6 Edge. Here are my "Incoming Server Settings" entries:
IMAP Server imap.cloud.email
Security SSL/TLS
Port 993
Username My email address
Authentication Normal Password
Password My 6 digit password
Auto detect IMAP namespace Left unchecked
Show only subscribed folders Left unchecked
Show Compression on Network Left all three unchecked
Those are the settings recommended by my email host Mailprotector.com
When I click next and the "checking settings" starts whirring, it comes back with "could not finish...could not connect to server"
