I have been using K9 mail for a long time and love it! I have 71 IMAP email accounts loaded into it and it has always worked flawlessly for me. 8 of those email accounts are set to 'push' messages immediately, and 63 are 'polled' every 2 hours (the frequency option I selected).
What I would really like to do is 'poll' the 63 email accounts 'selectively', much like I do in Outlook by using the Send/Receive settings and then the F9 function. That way whenever I am ready to read the mail in those accounts, I can initiate a poll of them, rather than the constant polling every 2 hours.
I have tried several combinations of the programs global 'Background Sync', and individual account 'Syncing Folders' settings, but can't seem to find a combination that allows for strictly initiating a manual poll of those accounts.
I have searched through this forum, as well as a Google search, but can't find an answer. Is anyone aware of a way to do this, or is it there and I am just not seeing it?
Many thanks in advance!
