Keep menus lit up at bottom?

Anyone know of any apps that can keep the bottom menu lit up when the screen is on?

in other words, the 4 menu items below the screen. Back, Menu, Home, Search. When I'm in the car and using streaming radio or navigation those go dim after a while, I'd like them to stay lit when the screen is lit.

Any suggestions? Or maybe its not possible yet, until root menu is hacked?

I'd like them to stay illuminated as well. Its annoying sitting in a dimmed/dark room and not have them lit up.

When driving at night it is very hard to find the menu buttons! I keep weaving all over the road...

Also I have noticed, and it is very annoying as well is if I am taking a call in a darkened or dimmed room the proximity sensor does not reactivate once I take the phone from my ear so I have no way to hang up the phone.
