[Kernel] Verizon HTC One M8 (Stock - Insecure Disables Write Protection)

There is now an insecure boot kernel that will disable write protection for the Verizon HTC One M8. This will totally remove write protection allowing for /system read/write capabilities. You might assume that with Permanent Root via the SuperSu.zip changes to the system would stick, but it has been discovered with past devices like the M7 that this is not the case. Once you run the insecure boot kernel all changes to system will stick after reboots. This means you can finally remove all of the bloat on your device once and for all! You will also be able to make other mods like replacing the bootanimation and more which will stick after reboots. Of course you will need to be s-off and bootloader unlocked via Firewater, and you will need a custom recovery like TWRP or CWMR. Head to the link below for the full guide and download links.

Well everyone... This is what you've been asking for over and over again from manufacturers for the past few years. A phone that can be easily modded that isn't a special edition. You don't have to order it from the manufacturer at full price and, unlike the dev edition, if it breaks you aren't SOL because they don't have any more.

Might have to support HTC with my dollars.

Absolutely! I am recommending this phone to everyone who asks.
