Kernel Versions

Ok, I have read several different explanations and I want the definitive answer if anyone has it. On 588 was kernel #1 then, 591 kernel #2, now on 595 kernel #1 again. Some have said it is an updated #1 and other say the kernel simply didn't update at all with the 595-deodexed? Is it the proper kernel for 595 or should we use the apex update to make it #2? Or does it really matter at all?

I have read countless numbers of forums, posts, stickies, etc, on this same question and haven't seen any answers on it. I am wondering the same thing because I would love to try out Apex and Liberty but I am on the Team Black Hat leaked .595 deodexed version but have seen no support for .595. Can't wait for some help on this! Thanks in advance!
