Will p3droids kernels work with this rom?

Sent from my Droid using DroidForums App

not sure ANY kernel other than what comes with the new version will work.

Anything previous to v4.1xx you can use any kernel of your choice. I am using chevy lv kernel right now, and it works great.

When this ROM first came out v2...it came with chevy 1.1 ghz lv kernel I believe.

What kernel are you using with MIUI V4.1.1

Which kernel are you using, and which ones are compatible? TIA

slayer 1.4 @ 1.0hz. Wooo hoooo frst to reply dancedroid

Nice, so no boot loops im assuming? I saw that someone had issues with a ChevyNo1 kernel, but hadnt seen anyone else mention a kernel that was working. Will try this out, thanks :)

Edit: okay, been searching for that kernel, can you post a link, i cant seem to locate it.
Edit2: i see why i cant find it, its slayher, not slayer.

anyone having trouble with the slayher 1.6 kernel on the market? i installed it and all of the sudden my phone decided to stop letting me download from the market...It could be a fluke and i'll try again after i'm off of work but it's just...odd...all other data transfer seems fine

.... doesn't work with v4.1.1 on my phone. None of Chevy's kernels work anymore. Those are my kernels of choice so I'm kind of disappointed.

I got Slayher's 1.6 kernels to work for me. Didn't try P3.

got boot loops with all chevy kernels. I was able to flash slayhers...no problem through RM.

However, I found any kernel using set cpu to slow down the launcher. It flys with the stock kernel that came with it...and NO set cpu.

Just thought Id update that.

I'll upload the 1 I'm using when I get home.

I bet its the older chevy kernel huh. The new ones with the interactive setting is the ones I was trying.
