Keyboard suggestions.

Hi everyone. I'm looking for new keyboard suggestions. I'd prefer free apps. Currently, I am enjoying Swype but sometimes it gets annoying. I am not a big fan of the stock multi touch keyboard. Btw, no T9 please. Thank you in advance

People like Swiftkey, which is available bot free and paid.

Similar to Swype is SlideIt and TouchPal. There is also Swype Beta, which is different from the pre-installed Swype.

Ok I'm trying out TouchPal and this is amazing. I like it better than Swype because any time I have to type up a made up word or something I can just tap away whereas in Swype there would be some annoying delay. Thanks for the suggestion!

Glad you like it. I have TouchPal because, since it's in the Play Store, it should be more likely to get updates.

That being said, I'm currently using Swype Beta.

SwiftKey. It really is as good as the hype. Definitely worth the money to buy the paid version.

I'm a serious cheapskate, I've only paid for a handful of apps, and this is one of them.

I also got the paid version of Swiftkey during one of the Android sales and tried it. Subsequently, I have deleted Swiftkey and gone back to Swype, which I greatly prefer. Just turn off autocorrection. It causes more trouble than it's worth.
