kicked off phone

Wife tried to get through my pattern, too many attempts. Now its asking for my gmail account. I put it in and it keeps saying its incorrect. When I know its right. Used the same password and everything to get into my accounts from home computer. Any way to get past this?

My advice would be to try a hard reset and see if that works. Other members might have better advice though so i will wait to post the link on how to do a hard reset to see if others can help you get around it without losing all your apps and such.

do you enter your full gmail or just part before @? try both options...

Yeah, you'll have to hard reset.
This is a glitch that google hasn't fixed yet unfortunately.

Hard reset??? And lose all data??? That's really the only way?

What about just pulling the battery for a bit? Once you replace it and boot the phone, will it not greet you with the lock screen, where it will await the lock-pattern, rather than gmail account info?

Had to go the hard reset route. Thanks to everybody that helped. I'm back on atleast.
