KiesAir -- old messages still on PC KIesAir, but not on phone

Kies Air -- so frustrating.

I have managed to connect PC to phone (phone to PC ?)
Two questions...

1. KiesAir on PC lists every message I have ever sent or received, but the older messages are not on my phone.
   How do I delete old messages on PC KiesAir ?
   
2. To wifi connect phone to PC I start Kies on phone and when prompted paste the URL into my browser
   - and it connects
   - so what is the PC KIes shortcut for ?

Kies Air is a smaller version of the regular Samsung Kies program. There are more options in the full blown version that you connect with using the factory USB cable.

Thank you Ollie, I didn't know you had replied (cannot locate my account page, to check for notification settings)

I have KIes for PC but I can only connect through WiFi
Two days ago I managed to USB connect my phone to PC but Kies on PC.was not activated.
- I have been able to copy photos from phone to PC in a group copy.
- unlike Kies for PC which insists I install Java to copy/move multiple image files from phone to PC
