I use Kik messenger to text my boyfriend for free because we're in different countries. Until about 6 months ago we were using WhatsApp but it stopped working well for us. Kik has been great, except lately my phone has been sending me double or triple notifications when I receive a message. I'll get a notification, check the message and reply, and then within the next few minutes get another notification for the exact same message, even though I've only received it once. Obviously this is not a pressing issue, but it is a bit annoying. Any thoughts on how to stop this?
