kinda strange question

I couldn't find any info on this on the web.....so I figured someone here would know. My boyfriend left his phone here and I uploaded a bunch of photos to it for him. When I attached the phone to the computer to transfer files I found a bunch of inappropriate stuff in a folder titled wallpapers. Naked girls, Victoria's secret models etc. I asked my boyfriend about them and hetold me that a lot of times those wallpaper apps will download random files into the cache file. Which is where they were....in the cache file in the wallpaper folder.

I'm not asking for relationship advice...I simply want to know from a technical aspect if its possible what he says happened actually happened or if those files had to be downloaded by him. Any help or info is appreciated. Thanks.

To be honest it can happen. I've downloaded a wallpaper app that offloaded all kinds of "interesting" pictures, directly to my gallery.

Was an interesting conversation that followed.
