The version of Android on the Kindle Fire HDX is so heavily forked you would think it's a turkey on Thanksgiving Day, but that doesn't mean that some of our members (or members' family) don't have them. It's a bit of a slow news day, so we thought it worth sharing that Amazon will supposedly have a Fall refresh of the Kindle Fire HDX.
The only difference that the intel reveals is an upgrade to the Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor and Android 4.4.4. The rest of the specs will likely remain the same. Here's the AnTuTu benchmark at the source link below.
