Try a Factory Data Reset if I haven't done so...

Mine did that the other day in my car dock and I looked forever to find why the light was blinking. I opened battery circle widget and looked at battery info. It said the battery was overheating, unplugged the phone and turned on the defroster with air and it went off after a few minutes.
