Latest Rom Manager wont boot into recovery

Not sure what is causing the issue but here are a few things you can check/try.

Did you wipe data and cache? If not, redo the install after wiping.

The download file of the rom may be corrupt. Verify that the file is the same size as the download or just redownload.

Make sure your battery is at least 60% charged.

Im not trying to install any rom..i am just trying to make a back up of my bb froyo
spr works fine just cwm wont load in recovery

That has happened to me a few times with CWM in Froyo.

I usually fix it by flashing SPR and then flashing back to CWM all from ROM Manager.

Sorry, I mistakenly thought you were trying to flash a new rom so thanks for the clarification.

RM/CW seems to be experiencing problems. The developer suggested flashing SPR then CW then SPR and CW. If that does not correct perhaps this link will

reflash sprecovery then flash back to cwm there seems to be an issue with the new update.

Happened to me with a few CMW versions.. I usually just flash back to an 1.8.xxxx version and it usually works!

I just take out the battery .... run rom manager and flash clockworkmod like 3 times and it works.

you guys are lifesavers. i couldn't figure it out for the life of me. i got the new 1.1 kangerade green. and it was awesome. then wanted to try out blue, and since blue, the screen wouldn't transition on the main screen. and in both versions, it still always said "1.0" in the "about" ....very strage. so thanks again, finally got back into SPR and was able to restore back to my 1.0 green. but i know this is off topic, but if anyone knows what my issue was during 1.1 i'd really appreciate it. thanks.

wasn't working for me, tried rebooting 3 times and still nothing. Re-flashed CW once(no flashing spr just cw) and rebooted and worked fine!

I had this happen to me, and couldn't flash SP. Had to uninstall RM, turn wifi on, install RM and then flash SP then back to CM. Just throwing it out there.

As everyone said, just a matter of reflashing. Also, from another thread, it may help to go into SetCPU and make sure that "set on boot" is NOT checked. That fix worked for me.
