Launcher Pro Question

I have the Launcher Pro Plus version with all the widgets. Well when i choose the "people" widget, the preview shows pictures of peoples faces. Well i have it set to have my "favorites" display on the widget, however it DOES NOT show the pictures of my favorites. Could somebody help me out with this. I mean i paid for this app so i would expect it to work properly. Thanks for the help

Try going to your Gmail via the internet. Go to contacts and group them there. I believe that's where launcher pro gets its info from. For example I put my selected contacts in a "friends" group in gmail then went to launcher pro and selected that group and they show up fine.

ok i did that, but there pic still doesnt show.

Oh sorry about that I missed that in your post...what I did was import the pic into my gmail and assigned it there. Then the pic showed.

well see, all the people that i want their pic to show up have a facebook account and i have the synced to my phone. I wish there was some way for launcher pro to sync with your facebook contacts or something so that it could use their current facebook pic, and then it woul be even better if whenever they changed their facebook picture that the picture that displays would change also. see what im saying???

I get what your saying...we all do. Unfortunately the Droid Facebook interface still leaves a lot to be desired. But like I said import your pics to your Gmail then they'll show up. Granted its not a fix but it is a work around.

SyncMyPix - Android app on AppBrain and there's lots of different threads about getting Facebook contacts synced on the forums.

Only Blur related apps and widgets can access the facebook synced pictures of your contacts. Otherwise everything else can only see what your google contact has set. However the SyncMyPix app listed above can solve this problem.
