Wondering if anyones tried this yet, sorry if its mentioned somewhere else..

Just installed it and messing around with it..

Yes, there is a thread at http://www.droidforums.net/forum/droid-applications/45198-launcherpro-beta-super-fast-smooth-launcher.html

I have it, but what I don't like is that you can't change the icons at the bottom (at least not yet) as you mentioned. Also you can't go to landscape without opening the keyboard. Until that changes, I'll stick with Helix 1.4.
