Leaked 2.2 rooted froyo and no update?

hi all.
I have a leaked 2.2 rooted froyo and when I tab the system update, it says "your device is up to date"

Do I need it back to stock 2.1?

That's the only solution that I've seen so far. Switch back to 2.1 and apply the ota update. I was hoping someone would post the update so maybe we could update from leaked 2.2 to ota 2.2 but no such luck yet.
