Leaked OnePlus 3 Render Looks Like an HTC 10 (or HTC One M9) Knock-Off

We realize it's tough to create an innovative aesthetic design with smartphones. After all, there's only so many combinations of a rectangular device you can create. Still, we do expect our OEMs to have a bit more creativity than to constantly "ape" each other. The latest OnePlus 3 leaked render looks like a knock-off of the HTC 10 or the HTC One M9, and that's just about as blunt as we can state it.

Along with the above leaked image, famed leaker Evan Blass, aka @evleaks, also share a couple of new hardware details. Supposedly the 3rd generation version of the OnePlus smartphone will include an AMOLED display and a 3,000 mAh battery. Both of these will be noticeable improvements, so that's worth factoring. Here's a recap of previously leaked specs:

• 5.5-inch 1080p display
• Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor
• 4GB of RAM
• 32GB of internal storage
• 16MP rear camera
• 8MP front-facing camera
• Fingerprint scanner

Considering the supposed $310 price-tag, we actually aren't too irritated that the design takes most of its inspiration from HTC. In fact, with the nearly edge to edge display and thinner design, one could argue that it looks better than the HTC 10, and would offer a greater value with the more affordable price. Maybe OnePlus is on to something here... what do you folks think?
