LED color issue...

I notice a lot of people are claiming to have their blinking LED change from the default green color. I have tried in handcent as well as two other apps, and it continues to only blink green, is there any other setting I am missing?

I too have been having this problem. I have tried everything and cannot figure out why it only blinks green. Frustrating...

I'm on the Droid (not the Eris), but I have my LED blinking purple....here's how I did it:

Handcent > Menu > Settings > Notification Setting > Color of LED
You also have to make sure you check LED Notification riht above it

However, I will tell you that if the most recent activity on my Droid is a Handcent test, then the light will blink purple... If anything else comes in after the SMS, then it will blink green again.. so it's the most recent activity that will determine the color of my LED.
