led indicator not flashing

I'm know this topic has been covered alot but i still cant figure it out. Im a new droid owner and have realized that the led indicator doesn't flash AT ALL. I use handcent app for my sms/mms and missed call app for my notifications. I disabled my default notifications as well as my handcent notifications so that my missed call app is handling all my notifications and still not led. I thought at least a green led is supposed to flash when the phone is turned on. Any suggestions?:motdroidvert:

There is no led when turned on to my knowledge.

Get off any third party apps, regular notifications, and test.

if phone on when receiving, you will not get an LED, only when the phone is in standby, this was a batt feature on 2.1
