LED light wont turn off

My LED light will barley shine on my Phone and it goes away and comes back. I don't know why it will keep staying barely lit red...

That is not the notification led. That is the proximity sensor.

Check settings>display>In-Pocket detection. When this option is enabled, there is small dim red light that will appear above the motorola logo and to the right of the actual notification LED.
