So the LED on this phone is quite nice however there doesn't seem to be any software that works well with it. Overall, the its the biggest disappointment I have with the phone. Am I alone?

I got the update as well that said the LED was addressed... mine still stays solid red.. maybe you have to try and set it again. GMAIL seems to still be the only thing working as far as flashing
I got the update, but seem to have lost the ability to choose the LED color and speed of the flash. Or am I just not looking in the right settings menu? I did set the LED setting to blink and that does seem to work, but it is the default blue color and I would rather than a different color.

Yeah, it seems we lost the ability to choose LED notification color, as well as frequency of flash. But mine seems to work just like my Gmail notification now.
Good enough for now.

Ya, so....... It is now broken even worse. It can't make up its mind what color to flash in Handcent. Magenta means it will either flash red or yellow. It is not sure which most times.
Doesn't work with the US version of the S3. It maps the colors differently than the international version and the green LED stays on when the screen is off. Known problem and the Dev has a US version coming to him to work with.
Touchdown also stays solid on email notifications. Also doesnt time out, have to clear manually. Hopefully they will start taking LED notifications seriously and fix this soon. Or at least Light Wave gets ported.
