If the build up is any indication, this is going to make the Pro look like a heavily supported flagship device by comparison. I imagine the device not even being worth the floor space and available from the backroom by request only. The Verizon mobile device expert studying you with a mixture of scorn and pity as you cradle your new device. They wont even try to sell you insurance on it.

Or, far more likely, Verizon has reasons for keeping this phone under wraps seing as no information is being withheld in Europe. And even if it doesn't have the support of Samsung it will have a large developer community.

hate to say this, but kevlar is nothing. i dont know why the razr has a kevlar. its useless. maybe its a little more scratch resistant but so what. a few scratches on the unseen back of a phone are not going to hurt anybody. and also, the razr is the only phone that has a kevlar backing. and one more thing to add on to this. if the galaxy nexus had a kevlar backing then it wouldnt have a removable back.

and verizon is not ashamed of the phone. why would they buy exclusive rights to sell the phone in the us if they were ashamed about it. even if they were ashamed they would still promote the hell out of it. why?-new operating system=new technology=increase in revenue. people like new outbreaks, ics is an outbreak.
theres nothing to be ashamed of with the galaxy nexus either, its gonna be a great phone, and its a google phone, which makes it even better.

the reason they are hiding it is because they want the razr and the rezound to sell.

I think the GNex has plenty to attract the non tech walk in types as well. Big hd display, face unlock etc. It should be a fine seller.

Im pretty sure the reason why verizon is not sharing a release date is because they want to sell there Razr.Also all these leaks for release dates is because they are putting them out to keep us in the dark there has been like 3-4 leaked dates.
