LG Announces Optimus 4X HD

It's finally official folks. LG announced their newest beast, the Optimus 4X HD. As you may or may not know it is packing a serious punch. Lets recap those specs shall we?

• 4.7-inch IPS display at a resolution of 1280 X 720
• Quad-Core nVidia Tegra 3 SoC clocking in at a blazing fast 1.5GHz
• 1GB of RAM
• 16GB of internal storage
• Eight-megapixel main camera w/ a 1.3-megapixel front-facer
• Android 4.x Ice Cream Sandwich
• 2,150mAh battery to power the large screen and four (plus one) cores.

We are loving that standard battery and of course the brutish Tegra 3 SoC. The device will get some face time at Mobile World Congress 2012 and we will be sure to bring you all the juicy details and video on this handset.

Last February. Motorla ATRIX came out February 22nd. That's the first dual core phone that pops in my head. Might be possible that some launched overseas first.
