LG G2 - Pattern Lock issue

Does anyone have this issue with their LG G2 with pattern lock always popping up?
When I use the traditional pin code lock, I have it set to 5 minutes.
I like the pattern lock as it is easier to swipe to unlock the phone. But I noticed when I have this feature, as opposed to the pin code lock, it randomly pops up, almost like a glitch. It happens randomly, when I am going through my contacts. Is this a known bug? Brand new phone.

I have TouchDown installed on my phone for corporate email. Does that interfere with it or do I have a faulty phone?

I went to Verizon and they did a hard reset but the pattern lock still pops up randomly.
If I switch it to pin code lock, then it works fine.
