Hey there,

I have a rooted LG G3 that I have had for 16 months. Recently I have been having issues with my bluetooth connection. Every time I try to connect it to either my car or another device it will start to work then disconnect and a message will pop up saying bluetooth has stopped. I've also recently had issues with my SIM card, where it will either say it is invalid or that I need to insert one, when it is already in there. I replaced the SIM today. It has been a few hours and I haven't had any more SIM card errors, but I continue to have issues with the bluetooth. Very frustrating. Any ideas?

Thank you,
Mel

Welcome to the Forum @Toffey1984. Are you running the stock or custom ROM?

Here's a screen shot of my software settings. I think it is stock.

5.1.1 is the latest Software release for the G3. I suggest you update your phone.

Back when I rooted it, Lollipop was just about to come out and everyone was saying that if we updated that it would unroot and that root would not be possible anymore. I haven't ready anything lately, has that changed? Do you have a suggestion for a stable update?
