Don't get me wrong, I'm getting both devices with the phone, (Not the case. I'm not wild about cases) I just wonder if I can use my G2 wireless charger as well...

I didn't think I'd bother with the case. I thought it was 'gimicky' and not something I'd necessarily want... Until I saw it 'in action' in that video, lol.

I just read that the phone will NOT be able to charge wirelessly, until you purchase a special backing plate(certain US phones) Some US carriers are blocking it or have blocked it... Idk if they mean it needs a special battery cover or what.. Perhaps they mean just the charger?
The VS980 4G has wireless charging.. But doesn't have a removable battery cover..

Thoughts?

LG G3 Confirmed for Verizon Wireless

Well if that's correct, it won't stop me from being the first person in Denton to pick one up. My current HTC doesn't have wireless charging. It's a nice feature, but not something I have to have.

I've been using wireless charging for a while now, and really like it, but it wouldn't be a deal breaker if a device didn't have that capability... especially when it comes to *this* phone.

I agree.. It's not a deal breaker.. I have wireless charging with my Maxx.. And it's actually a pita.. Because with the incipio ghost charger, (at least for me, I've read others have better experiences) is a pain.. Cause either gets bumped or vibrates.. And stops charging..

But if I got the g3, I'd definitely get the wireless charging plate... Or add on..
