LG will outfit the LG G4 with a screen that promises major improvements in just about every way.

LG is promising "a quantum jump in terms of key features, including color gamut, brightness, contrast ratio, touch function, power consumption and thinness" they announced today. LG's previous flagship the G3 offers the same 5.5-inch 1440 x 2560 display specification but the company is promising better colors and contrast this time around.

LG will host a launch event on April 28 for the device.

Quickly losing hope in finding a large screen (5.7"+) replacement for my Note 3. I want front facing speakers and need a removable/upgradeable battery with me not able to stop for quick charges during work.

Nexus 6 with a portable charger. Win!

That's good because the G3 screen is terribly dull and uninteresting. I had the G2 and the screen on the G3 was the only reason that I didn't get it.

Yeah the g3 was very dim.. Least mine was... Idk.. Hope this panel is brighter..

If the Snapdragon 810 is the worst news regarding the G4, I'd say it's still a damn good device.

I'm liking that it'll stay 5.5", perfect size. I do agree the screen was a little dull, especially when you compared it to the Note 4.

on the move..

How come the 2 ladies have that I don't want to be here look on their faces, even the guy in the background has that forced smile on his face.

These are the preliminary Specs:

I'm using a 5.5" LG Optimus G Pro, perfect size for me and this is a a good reason to upgrade. Looks really nice and I've been happy with my Optimus.

The 808 is better than the 600 I have now. I have read several not so great articles about overheating blamed on the 810 One said the problem was resolved with a software fix, that leaves me suspicious, but like I said, there is nothing wrong with the 808. And the LG phones usually come in with better pricing than comparable phones. The MSD slot and I think a removable battery are icing on the cake.

I also think I saw one spec list that said wireless charging was also included. I'm all in.
