Cellphone case manufacturers are among the first to see the new designs of upcoming phones. In some cases they receive factory CADs months in advance. This allows them to manufacture cases for devices before they are released or even announced this way their cases are ready to go when the phone finally comes out. Over the past few years "Onleaks" has been the go to source for cell phone renders which are based on these Factory CADs. Just about every render they have leaked has been pretty dead on accurate.
They have just released their LG G6 renders. From the renders we can see the rear fingerprint scanner/ power button placement. We see a USB Type-C port, a dual camera setup, volume rocker on the left of the device, single bottom firing speaker and a 3.5mm headphone jack on the top. There is a slight chamfer surrounding the front bezel while the rear of the device is rounded with another chamfered edge. The Quad HD display will be 5.3" in size and will be entirely flat (this will help with screen protectors). The renders do not show a button for removing the back and the rear panel fits snug to the frame. We may be looking at a non removable back folks.
It is expected that LG will feature both metallic and matte finishes for the LG G6. LG may also utilize a new wireless charging module that will allow the battery to charge 50% in just 30 minutes. We won't be seeing any modular friends with this device for obvious reasons. This device is looking pretty great so far. Is anyone looking forward to the LG G6?
